J2 Retail Systems enters Sub-Saharan African market Star POS South Africa appointed as exclusive distributor J2 has entered into a partnership with Star POS South Africa (Pty) Limited (Star) for the exclusive distribution of its products in sub-Saharan Africa. In what is a new geographic market for J2, Star is the sole distributor of the Micronics range of printer products. Star has a strong reputation in the region as an established supplier to major corporates and to the reseller channel. Explains Moray Boyd, co-founder and Managing Director of J2 Retail Systems: “The South African market is very focused on leisure and hospitality through its extensive tourism industry.
