J2 Retail Systems makes three new Sales appointments UK Channel Business Development Manager, New Business Development Manager and Sales Assistant appointed Warrington-based, specialist manufacturer of EPoS equipment for the retail, leisure and hospitality markets, J2 Retail Systems (J2), has made three new Sales appointments as part of a strategy to expand the business. This development is in response to higher than expected growth over recent months and strong business opportunity going forward. Two of the appointments are to newly-created roles. Explains J2’s co-founder and Managing Director, Moray Boyd: “We see these new appointments as the conduit for increased growth in various sectors of the UK market. Together, they bring us excellent experience in business generation and in our specialist field of EPoS.” Experienced EPoS industry practitioner, Samantha Bowles, has been appointed as UK Channel Business Development Manager. She is responsible for developing relationships with new partners and resellers and for growing their revenue stream. Samantha spent 10 years as a Field Service Engineer with Digital Equipment in the City and the West End, supporting financial market clients such as London Stock Exchange and Coutts Bank. She then moved to EPoS hardware vendor, PC-PoS where she held office- and field-based Sales roles over a 10-year period. “I chose J2 because of their reputation in the industry for making reliable sytems and providing good service,” explains Samantha. Samantha is based in the South of England and has a roving, nationwide brief. Joining the company as New Business Development Manager is Daniel Warwick. Daniel brings to his new appointment 15 years’ experience in Sales and Sales Management roles in the office equipment industry. Earlier periods of employment with Gestetner, Konica and Ikon Office Solutions were followed by Regional Sales Manager roles with Ricoh (UK) and Office Depot. Daniel then set up his own business, The Office Supplies Network. This flourished for three years, during which time Daniel secured a number of high-profile accounts including Ford UK. He describes his motivation for joining J2 as “a challenging environment and excellent products.” He is based in J2’s Warrington office. Supporting Daniel, Samantha and other Sales Managers is Vanessa Hollingsworth, who now occupies the new role of Sales Assistant. After graduating from John Moore’s University with a Media and Marketing-oriented degree, Vanessa gained experience in Sales administration roles. At J2, she is responsible for administering customer orders, managing inhouse systems and processes, and participating in Marketing activities. Her role also extends to supporting UK and international customers and the company’s Sales operations, and she is based in Warrington. |
